Lingerie entrepreneur Michelle Mone OBE joins glamorous office* Keynote line-up

Michelle Mone, co-owner of MJM International and creator of Ultimo, the UK’s leading designer lingerie brand, has been confirmed to speak at office* 2011 on Friday 16 September at London's Earls Court.  Listed as one of the top three female entrepreneurs in the country, and recently voted as the number one woman in business by GLAMOUR magazine, Michelle is the second high profile addition to the show’s Keynote line-up, which already includes Ann Summers boss Jacqueline Gold.

The entrepreneur, who received an OBE “for services to the lingerie industry” in the 2010 New Year Honours List, proved a popular choice with the show’s visitor base of PAs, EAs and Office Managers, after the organisers, Diversified Business Communications UK, asked readers of its office* Elite newsletter to suggest potential keynote speakers for this year’s event.

Mixing practical advice with a genuine, down-to-earth personal account of her journey to the top, Michelle’s session (11.45am-12.30pm on Friday 16 September) will include insights and anecdotes garnered from a hugely successful business career, built on the incredibly simple concept of giving today’s women what they want.

Since its inception in 1996, MJM International has become one of the UK’s leading lingerie producers.  The company’s brands include Ultimo, Miss Ultimo, Ultimo Miracle Solutions, ‘Adore Moi by Ultimo’ exclusive to Debenhams, ‘Michelle for George’ for Asda, ‘Diamond Boutique’ for Tesco, and, more recently, Ultimo Couture.  For 2011, both the company and its founder continue to go from strength to strength, with the launch of the Ultimo Beauty collection plus an appearance on the BBC’s Celebrity MasterChef 2011 programme scheduled for later this autumn.

The office* Keynote programme will complement the show’s comprehensive training and development programme of 32 seminars and master classes across four dedicated theatres.  Full conference details, including further Keynote announcements, are to be published over the coming months.

The show is supported by The Institute of Professional Administrators (IPA), Association for Administrative Professionals (APA), European Management Assistants (EUMA), SecsintheCity, PA-assist.com, The PA Club, Reed Learning, Hemsley Fraser, Jeans for Genes, Executary News, Executive PA Magazine, The Business Travel Magazine, Business Info, Buying Business Travel, Olé and Metro London.

office* is free to attend for pre-registered visitors, which also includes entry to the Keynote stage.  Seminars and master classes are £89 for three 1-hour sessions or £39 per 1-hour session.
