Travelport, the leading provider of critical transaction processing solutions and data for the global travel industry, has announced the successful integration of Galileo RoomMaster™ hotel content into the TravelSky GDS platform. TravelSky Technology limited is the state-owned GDS operator in China. This integration marks a significant milestone in the ground-breaking partnership first announced by the two companies in October 2011.

Wireless specialists Max WiFi delivered nearly 800 gigabytes of information over 2 days for Europe’s top technology conference LeWeb last week. LeWeb, which took place at Central Hall Westminster on 5th and 6th June, was attended by over 1,300 delegates from 46 countries congregating to hear talks around the theme ‘New Sharing Economy.’ Speakers from heavy-weight web-based companies included Yelp, Spotify, Google and Facebook.

Travelport Mobile Agent now launched in Asia

Travelport, a leading provider of critical transaction processing solutions and data to companies operating in the global travel industry, today announced the successful launch of Travelport Mobile Agent™ in several key regions across Asia.
Travelport-connected agents in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Taiwan using the Galileo GDS platform are now able to download Travelport Mobile Agent to access and modify bookings on-the-go via their iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch or Android devices. The application will also be launched to Worldspan GDS users in Asia on 15 July.
