MEET National offering two keynote addresses at 2016 event

Audiences at MEET National will have the luxury of seeing two different keynote speakers during the conference. MEET National, organized by the Questex Travel Group, will take place Sept. 7-8, 2016, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.

Winds of Change: The Reshaping of Business and Meetings 

In a world of unprecedented change, this session will focus on how companies have adjusted their operations in order to benefit from new economic and social realities; and how smart businesspeople are transforming their offices, offerings, marketing, brands and meetings to better align themselves with colleagues and customers.

 Making a Difference™ 

Focusing on the conscious choices we make every day that impact the lives of others, Making a Difference will be an eye-opening and heartfelt keynote detailing how to positively influence people in every imaginable way, regardless of position or status. 
 

Another 20 plus sessions will cover topics that run the gamut including risk management, revenue management, venue selection, negotiation, content creation, speaker recruitment, and a strong emphasis on technology. The event will close with a town hall meeting which will feature several industry leaders including U.S. Travel Association president and CEO, Roger Dow. Plus the entire education program will provide planners with valuable CEU credits. 



In addition, Meeting Professionals International (MPI) will offer three intensive certification programs – Meetings Essentials, Health Care Meetings Compliance Certificate, and Going Local, for an additional fee.
