With ambitions to welcome 440,000 visitors a year by 2024, the government of Kuwait is pressing ahead with multiple plans that will see billions of dollars invested in projects and a further $1 billion budget earmarked to promote the Gulf state over the same period.

British Tourism & Travel Show – the leading annual event for the UK and Ireland’s multi-billion pound domestic tourism industry – is expected to attract thousands of tour operators, travel organisers and agencies when it opens at the NEC Birmingham this week, on 22-23 March.

ATM Global Stage to open with Expo 2020 legacy debate

The legacy of Expo 2020 is set to come under the spotlight on Arabian Travel Market’s Global Stage, returning for the 2017 show at Dubai World Trade Centre, from April 24 to 27.
Expo 2020, between October 2020 and April 2021, will bring together more than 180 nations and is expected to host an international audience of 25 million visitors.

11th IT&CM China 2017 opens on the back of the first-ever pre-show tour to Istanbul

A selection of hand-picked international buyers and media began their IT&CM China 2017 experience with a 4-day, 3-night pre-show tour to Istanbul sponsored by Turkish Airlines. The trip that began on 17th March gave delegates the opportunity to sample Matbah – the traditional flavours of the Ottoman Palace cuisine, as well as walk the streets and visit iconic districts, landmarks and unique event venues including the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, and the 1680 year old Direk Cistern.

Mash Media reports visitor attendance increase across show portfolio

International Confex,
Mash Media has seen dramatic spike in visitor attendance across its exhibition portfolio following the recent outings of International Confex, Event Production Show and the newly procured Office*. The shows co-located at London Olympia earlier in March as part of the biggest global gathering of event professionals in the UK.
