The Meetings Show UK is the major new event for the UK inbound and outbound meetings industry and will take place, for the first time, on 9-11 July 2013 at Olympia, London.

It is the first UK show to feature a fully hosted buyer programme, which will bring 1,500 pre-qualified senior buyers to the event, creating over 13,500 pre-scheduled business meetings with exhibitors. Alongside the hosted buyers, the show will attract an additional 3,000 trade buyers.

A professional education programme will take place over four days, designed by an Educational Panel of industry experts, tasked with ensuring the best and most current education content. A week’s worth of unrivalled business networking opportunities for buyers and suppliers culminates with a number of fam tours for hosted buyers.

With over 500 independent retailers within a half mile radius, Brighton is well known for its range of boutique and quirky shopping options. This year the VisitBrighton Convention Bureau is championing the city's individual brand and will have its own conference supplies store – complete with pick and mix sweet bar - at The Meetings Show UK, stand K15.

Opening of Hosted Buyer diary to deliver tangible results for The Meetings Show UK exhibitors

The Hosted Buyer diary for The Meetings Show UK has gone live, allowing buyers to schedule their appointments with exhibitors of their choice.
The Hosted Buyer Programme, which is the cornerstone of the event, allows buyers to choose appointments with exhibitors that are of genuine interest and need to their business.  The opening of the online diary marks a significant moment in the event’s progress as buyers and visitors start to network, plan time together and prepare for the inaugural show in July.

Jockey Club Venues to exhibit at The Meetings Show UK

Sandown Park
The UK’s largest group in commercial horseracing has confirmed it will exhibit at The Meetings Show UK, 9th – 11th July 2013. Jockey Club Venues is the conference and events arm of The Jockey Club, the umbrella company comprising 15 of the finest racecourses in the country including Epsom Downs, Aintree and Cheltenham Racecourse.

Manchester Live! 2013 confirmed for The Meetings Show UK

  Invites for the fourth outing of Manchester’s annual destination showcase, Manchester Live! are due to be issued next week.  
The event, which will take place from 6:30pm on Wednesday, 10 July, is one of the official evening functions taking place during the inaugural Meetings Show UK (9-11 July).  
The venue has been announced as BAFTA, 195 Piccadilly.
