One Wimpole Street Wins Best Marketing Award – serving visitors one of their five-a-day at Confex 2012
One Wimpole Street, London’s award winning conference and meetings venue, scooped the highly acclaimed best marketing award at International Confex 2012 by going apple crazy, giving the crowds a unique and entertaining experience, packed with a crunch!Visitors to the stand were greeted by the sweet smell of apples and inspired by the charismatic apple juggler who gave free juggling lessons between 3-4pm every day; a sure-fire way to astound colleagues, or not, as some may argue! The team also launched a competition to win an iPad 2 every day of the show. Visitors could enter by simply watching a series of photos of the venue and count the number of strategically placed apples throughout the cycle. Apple giveaways which had the One Wimpole Street logo lasered into the flesh, housed in their own apple protectors certainly didn’t fail to impress either!

This has been our fifth and most fruitful Confex to date, having seen a huge amount of interest in our stand and winning the best marketing award - an accolade to our exceptional venue in the heart of London.”
