Qualifying bookings can receive up to £350 per couple in added value on dining, sightseeing and more

The journey of a lifetime through the Canadian Rockies just got a little more enticing for UK travellers, as luxury rail company Rocky Mountaineer today launched its Stay & Play offer in celebration of Canada’s 150th birthday.

From now until 3rd March 2017, new bookings for the ultimate in luxury rail travel are eligible to receive up to £350 per couple to spend on dining, cruises, sightseeing and much more. There has never been a better time to visit Canada than 2017, when a series of events and activities will take place across the country’s cities, national parks and heritage spaces.

One of the many eligible vacation packages the offer applies to is the Canadian Rockies Getaway, travelling between Vancouver and Jasper, Lake Louise, and Banff, AB. The nine-day/eight-night holiday comprises four days onboard the train, eight nights’ hotel accommodation, and a number of tours and activities including an Ice Explorer tour to the middle of the Athabasca Glacier. At the time of booking, guests are also able to add an Alaska cruise to make it a two-in-one holiday by rail and sea.

“2017 is going to be an exciting year for Canada and for Rocky Mountaineer. Our company has deep roots in the history of Canada,” says Patrick Ryan, ‎Director of Sales - EMEA and India at Rocky Mountaineer, “Our trains travel along the same routes that united Canada as a country 150 years ago. Our Stay & Play offer will help guests from the UK celebrate the country’s heritage in a unique way.”

The maximum credit of £350 is exclusively applicable to qualifying 2017 Rocky Mountaineer packages of eight days or more in GoldLeaf or SilverLeaf Service on select dates between April and October 2017.
