Mobile tickets have arrived for Trainline business customers

Train travel management just got even smarter for TMCs and corporates booking with Trainline for Business, as they now have access to mobile tickets across 11 train operators, on every mobile ticket enabled route offered. This means Trainline offers the widest UK mobile ticket coverage in the business market, whether that’s by train operator, fare type or route.

Once booked, mobile tickets eliminate queuing time at the station as are automatically sent directly to the traveller in the Trainline App, which now provides separate business profiles. The app gives business travellers access to powerful real-time information such as what platform their train leaves from, other train times their ticket could be used on (should they need to), how busy their train is, a live journey tracker, push notifications and more.   

Wherever possible, Trainline mobile tickets are available for interoperable fares as well as those provided by a single operator. This currently applies on all journeys on Virgin Trains West Coast, Chiltern, Greater Anglia and Northern, and most journeys on Virgin Trains East Coast, Cross Country and First Trans Pennine Express.  

What’s more, as business travel can be unpredictable, with Trainline mobile tickets, you have the flexibility to change your Advance tickets and change or get a refund for Off Peak and Anytime tickets.  

New routes will be added on an ongoing basis, as the rail industry continues to adopt mobile ticketing.
