Award winning country house open for conferences and events

A unique and beautifully located award winning venue, Boconnoc, near Bodmin in Cornwall is an 18th Century mansion that has been restored to its former splendour and is now open for events, conferences and corporate days.
The restoration of Boconnoc took over twelve years and was recently awarded the Sotheby's Restoration Award along with the Georgian Group Award for the Restoration of a Country Mansion. Anthony Fortescue, owner of the house and estate, had the vision, foresight and determination to realise it must be restored to its former glory in order for others to be able to enjoy this spectacular place and setting. The house has not been lived in for 30 years and needed a new roof and most of the inner structure had to be re-built.

Malaysia is the first country in South East Asia to host Meetings & Events Australia (MEA) Annual National Conference 2014
The Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB), established by the Ministry of Tourism, announces another bid win for the country- the Meetings & Events Australia (MEA) Annual National Conference 2014. The announcement was made at the closing ceremony of the MEA Annual Conference 2013 where MEA 2014 will be taking place in Malaysia for four days from 15 to 17 May 2014 at the award-winning Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. This marks the first time the Conference is taking place in South East Asia and only the second time outside of Australia.
