New Visit Surrey Brochure launched with a free iphone app
The new Visit Surrey destination brochure for 2012 is rolling off the presses and will be available to pick up from the Guildford Tourist Information Centre from 10 January 2012.The new brochure is the biggest ever with 72 pages of places to visit, places to stay and places to eat, together with events and information for coach operators.

Staff party marks end of turbulent year for Peckforton Castle
Peckforton Castle celebrated the end of a turbulent year with an magnificant staff party held at Cruise Nightclub, in Chester City Centre on 4th January 2012.140 Castle staff members attended the staff party and awards, affectionately nicknamed The Peckys, in an Oscars themed awards ceremony and after party. The event marked the end of a turbulent year for the Castle’s owners and staff following an arson attack on the Castle’s main function room in June of last year which caused millions of pounds worth of damage.
