Tinie Tempah & DJ Poet to Launch Subsix at NIYAMA Maldives
Per AQUUM together with global superstars, Tinie Tempah and DJ Poet will launch the world’s first underwater music club, Subsix at NIYAMA Maldives this October 27th and November 2nd 2012, respectively. With two separate performances, two-time BRIT Awards, MOBO Award and the prestigious Ivor Novello Award winner, Tinie Tempah performs for the first time in the Maldives followed by long time Per AQUUM Music Ambassador, two-time GRAMMY® nominated and US Billboard #8 Dance/ Electronic artist, DJ Poet.Fresh from his live performance with Jessie J and Taio Cruz at the Closing Ceremonies of the London 2012 Summer Olympic Games which attracted an estimated global audience of 750 million, Tinie Tempah is undisputedly the UKs hottest star of the moment. Tinie’s biggest singles, ‘Pass Out’ and ‘Written in the Stars’ have received over a hundred million views to date. Having toured with Jay-Z, Rihanna, Usher and even one time Per AQUUM Dream Calendar icon, Mr Hudson, Tinie’s debut album Disc-overy, not only put Tinie on the map but also altered the path of UK urban music in 2010. His next album, Demonstration is due to be released later this year. In addition to his musical achievements, Tinie is also well known for his unique style, with the launch of his own clothing line, Disturbing London, and more recently being appointed to join the British Fashion Council Committee for the London Collections: Men.
DJ Poet, two-time GRAMMY nominated Super Producer, Songwriter, Remixer and Founder of Listen Deep completed The E.N.D. world tour as Official DJ for the Black Eyed Peas and as one of the most talked-about members of Los Angeles’ music elite, Poet is this generation’s artist and producer. His highly anticipated summer release ‘Feel Alive’ with Fergie and Pitbull was in collaboration with the blockbuster movie franchise, Step UP Revolution and Fergie’s perfume line with Avon. The last few months has seen Poet on the road with will.i.am and DJ Ammo as they shoot the most highly anticipated reality show, The Intel® Ultrabook™ Project where they gave will.i.am an Ultrabook™ to create 12 new tracks for 12 cities.
