EAS’s appointment by the RFU is a strategic move to heighten security and streamline its personnel admission processes into the grounds. EAS will debut its accreditation system at the first QBE International between England and Fiji on 10th November 2012.
Peder Berg, EAS Managing Director, said: “We are delighted that the RFU has put its trust in EAS to totally upgrade its accreditation platform. This is a fantastic project for us, not least of all, because the RFU is a world class national sports governing body and Twickenham Stadium is an iconic venue.”
Richard Knight, RFU Stadium Director, said: “Due to the scale and profile of the events which take place at Twickenham Stadium it is essential that we have an efficient accreditation system. With an impressive track record of accrediting major international events and its highly advanced Accredit system, EAS was a natural choice to manage and implement a new vetting process for the stadium.”
EAS’s Accredit system has been used by some of the world’s most high profile events including the UK Labour Party Conference, the Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Grand Prix, London Fashion Week, IDEX, and many more events.
