The landmark North-East venue has upgraded the electrical busbars throughout the whole of the Arena in order to modernise the exisiting electricity supply and move away from a system where more parts were becoming obsolete.
The new system has a greater flexibility to provide electrical supplies to exhibition stands, which will greatly benefit shows including Offshore Europe, All-Energy, Your Wedding Exhibition and The Scottish Home Show (which will be at AECC this weekend - 1st to 2nd September).
Energy efficiency will also be improved, which fits with AECC’s drive to make the Venue more sustainable and is in-line with actions being taken under the Green Tourism Business Scheme with which AECC currently has a Silver accreditation.
Brian Horsburgh, Managing Director of the AECC said, “AECC is committed to providing the best service to clients and visitors to the Centre, and we are glad to offer improved electrical capabilities, which will be of great benefit - especially to exhibition organisers and exhibitors.”
