Murray may not have won the title but The Championships, Wimbledon, remains a hot spot in the sporting calendar with an encouraging forecast for 2013
Keith Prowse’s prestigious hospitality offering, at The Championships, Wimbledon has proved its worth for the 30th consecutive year, with an optimistic outlook for 2013’s Grand Slam.Highlighting the success of Keith Prowse’s Gatsby Club this year are an encouraging number of booking enquiries for 2013 and an influx of positive customer feedback, underlining the landmark occasion as a perennial favourite for corporate entertaining.
Keith Prowse has also shown its ability to respond to market trends as table sizes have become more intimate and reflective of a new generation of business including the technology and gaming sectors.
Whilst some hospitality companies have been reducing capacities and keeping tight reins on spends, Keith Prowse introduced innovations that proved to be a great success this year including iPad food ordering and the continuing appointment of Albert Roux as head chef.
The sporadic rainfall during the tournament may have caused the occasional disruption to play but it did not prevent business being done in The Gatsby Club with an average of 8 hours of possible face-to-face time achieved daily; well in excess to the traditional meeting confines.
The leading food service and support services provider, Compass Group UK & Ireland, chose to use the inspiring setting for its annual summer ball in aid of Cancer Research UK.
Andy Vinsen, Commercial Director at Keith Prowse said: “Summer 2012 has been a pinnacle for the UK and has brought a raft of new opportunities through a summer of sporting activities. However, our quality hospitality offering proved its continuing appeal and we begin our new 5 year contract as official suppliers of hospitality in great shape and with bookings already confirmed for 2013.”
