The show, which takes place on Sunday 16 September, features a fantastic collection of modern classic trucks manufactured between 1960 and 2000 and is arranged by enthusiasts for enthusiasts. This year’s show has an expected display of 200 - 300 of the best modern classic show trucks in the UK including manufacturers Volvo, Scania and Daf.

All trucks that fall into the age category are welcome whether they are show trucks, working trucks or work in progress! There will be a ‘Best Truck’ competition voted for by visitors with the winner to be announced in the afternoon and new for this year - an indoor model show. Show entry on the Sunday includes entry to the museum with its fantastic display of historic cars – making it a great value day out for all the family.

For those wanting to make a weekend of it there is camping available on the Friday & Saturday, with entertainment on the Saturday night including a disco, charity auction plus the launch of the ‘Steelboys’ and ‘Steelgirls’ charity calendar with all proceeds going to breast cancer and testicular cancer charities. In addition there will be a licensed bar, food stalls and a free children’s bouncy castle.

Emma Rawlinson, Event Executive for the Heritage Motor Centre stated “We are delighted to be hosting this fantastic show for a second year. It’s such a colourful retro event - we would encourage even those that don’t own a truck to still come along and join in all the ‘truck’ fun!”
