London Breakfast Meetings Week returns to riverside rooftop venue, The Deck

London Breakfast Meetings Week, The Deck
This October, London Breakfast Meetings Week will be returning to The Deck at the National Theatre for the third year, with activities aiming to challenge perceptions surrounding early morning meetings, and encourage people to do business more efficiently at breakfast.
The dedicated week, running from 3 – 7 October, is designed to highlight the advantages of breakfast meetings for delegates, venues and businesses alike and to inspire companies throughout London to explore the abundance of opportunities morning meetings may bring.

The highlight of the week, an exclusive London Breakfast Meeting Week Open Morning, will be taking place at The Deck on Thursday 6 October. The Deck, on the roof of the National Theatre, overlooks the South Bank, City of London and the River Thames and is the ideal place to watch the city wake up.

To get the day off to a healthy start, guests are welcome to sample delicious brain-boosting breakfast dishes created by The Deck’s in-house catering team, and make use of an granola station offering toppings such as mixed-berry shots and fresh fruit, yoghurt and honey from the National Theatre’s own bees.

Visitors will have the chance to network with key events media and organisers and will be inspired by influential professionals on the possibilities morning meetings can bring. Returning this year is avid health blogger and author Sarah Malcolm, accompanied by rising Instagram health guru Jess Moses, who is also Events and Creative Manager for Deliciously Ella. The duo will be on hand to offer tips on powering a productive meeting with a nutritional breakfast and hosting a smoothie station, inspired by their own recipes. Yuji Chinese Medicine will also offer relaxing massages to set guests up for the day.

On the return of the event, Tineke O’Brien at The Deck said: ‘London Breakfast Meetings Week has been such a success over the past two years and we are delighted to be hosting our open morning for the third year running. The Deck is really versatile and is ideal for corporate clients as a meeting space given the natural daylight and the stunning view. There is so much scope to improve the way breakfast meetings are done and it is exciting to see how the initiative is developing across the capital.’

Any venues wishing to get involved with London Breakfast Meetings Week will be able to access dedicated toolkit, created by The Deck, which will help venues develop their own breakfast events. Stay up to date and join in via social media, using #LBMW16.
