CMITE, held in partnership with SITE, the Society for Incentive Travel Excellence, brings fully hosted North American meeting planners and incentive buyers together with Caribbean suppliers for two and a half days of exclusive networking opportunities and prescheduled one-to-one meetings in private suites.
New to the event this year will be a special education session presented by Meeting Professionals International (MPI). Jessie States, manager of professional development for MPI will present “Meetings Outlook: A Deep Dive into the Latest Business” on Wednesday, August 31 where she will review the forecast for events in the coming year, including budget, attendance, and business conditions; delve into trends that matter, and discuss with the audience how they will affect their future meetings.
“This year’s CMITE event is off to a great start, thanks to highly productive, qualified appointments, unique networking opportunities and an exciting new destination for our attendees in beautiful Barbados,” said Kirk Lewis, meetings group director for Questex. “Our MICE event portfolio is the only one that offers one-to-one meetings in the privacy of luxury hotel rooms, combined with stellar education and exciting networking activities, providing tremendous value to suppliers and buyers alike.”
Suppliers at the event represent cruise lines, tour operators, destination management companies and sought-after incentive destinations, hotels, resorts and spas across the globe.
