Merlin Events London and guests enjoy their Fun Day

Merlin Events London Fun Day launch
Following the announcement of its new corporate package, Merlin Events London hosted the launch of Fun Days yesterday (9 May), at their venue the Riverside Rooms.
On a British summers evening at London’s County Hall, guests joined the Merlin events team for an afternoon tea and Pimms reception, before being whisked off to experience some of the capitals top attractions, the Coca-Cola London Eye, Shrek’s Adventure! London, SEA LIFE London Aquarium and the London Dungeon. Even as the weather turned from bright sunshine to rain clouds, guests were kept nice and dry inside the attractions’ and at the Riverside Rooms, proving you don’t need to rely on the British weather for Fun Days.

After the excitement of the attractions, guests returned to the Riverside Rooms for a BBQ feast including gourmet burgers, peri peri prawn skewers and sweet potato skins from top London caterer Food by Dish. The venue was suitably decked out for summer with visitors enjoying indoor garden games ranging from croquet to quoits, hosted by quintessentially British gentlemen. Guests were also treated to amazing magic courtesy of SNAP entertainment, and those wanting something a little different had their tarot cards read by Cards be with you. To wrap up the evening guests enjoyed summer fruit skewers and an indulgent marshmallow and chocolate fondue.

Samantha Burton, senior events manager at Merlin Events London commented on the evening’s success: “It was a pleasure to see and welcome so many guests and clients to the Riverside Rooms to experience and get a taste for our Fun Days package. We continue to look at ways to utilise the venue and our attractions for businesses and visitors alike, and these packages are a great way for employers to not only host their event in central London, but incentivise their staff with our attractions.”
