KDM Commercial Director Nicky Whyman said: “This year more than any other we are seeing a huge focus on employee engagement, so the time is ripe to give our clients some direct experience and inspiration for their events.”
The guests, including representatives from Ernst & Young, Smith Williamson and Xoserve, were invited to tour a series of specially-created zones within thestudio, each focusing on a theme.
With Rio 2016 fast approaching the ‘Outdoor’ zone showed clients how they might incorporate the spirit of the Olympics into their events and motivational programmes, while the ‘Explore’ room enticed guests into a purple and gold vision of Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory.
Having designed and named their own cocktails, guests entered the Photo Studio, taking selfies against a range of branded backgrounds. Decor and props brought to life a range of further themes, including Wild West and Hollywood.
Hands-on competitions included sessions on the Batak sports training machine; also a cash-grabber box giving contestants the chance to win a gold ticket promising a bottle of bubbly together with a 15% discount on their next event booked with KDM.
Nicky Whyman added: “Thestudio provided us with a great range of contemporary environments which we transformed for event themes and demonstrations, so as well as complimenting the format, layout and content, guests told us how valuable it was for them to be able to see ideas brought to life.
“The evening generated some excellent discussions with our clients that will help us design tailor-made events for them over the coming months.”
The London and Midlands-based company, which designs and delivers teambuilding events, motivational learning activities and corporate entertainment, as well as interactive conference content, has in recent months received a record number of requests from corporate event planners wishing to organise team bonding events and family fun days.
