The Job Show returns to Westfield London for a third year

The Job Show Westfield London 2015
The UK’s most popular recruitment event returns to Westfield London this weekend, Friday 26th and Saturday 27th of February, from 10am to 6pm on both days.
Over 60 organisations will be promoting thousands of job opportunities to more than 100,000 young jobseekers. The free event will take place in the atrium at Westfield London and is open to the public.

The London Job Show is the perfect opportunity for anyone looking for a new job, to change their career path or train for a new role. The show enables candidates to meet employers from a selection of London’s top organisations.

Thousands of jobs will be on offer from a vast range of employers with the chance to start a new career in anything from cyber security to car sales, or from social work to surveying.

As well as the chance to find out about a possible new career, the show will feature various skills workshops to boost your employability, as well as advice on how to handle interviews and making your CV attractive to employers. Visitors are encouraged to bring copies of their CV, dress smartly and research the exhibitors beforehand.

Since opening in 2008 Westfield London has had a transformative impact on the west London economy by creating jobs, footfall, tourism and attracting further investment to W12 from top property investors to world-class institutions such as Imperial College London.

Westfield London provides 12,000 jobs, both as a direct employer and by attracting world-class retail employers. The proposed retail and residential expansion will create a further 8,000 jobs.

In 2012 Westfield established the Westfield London Jobs and Training Panel in order to support employment and training at Westfield London and its local communities. It has since been expanded and renamed the White City Jobs and Training Panel in order to involve other local landowners and businesses.  Since its creation the Panel has been hosted by Westfield London and has brought together local stakeholders including the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, St James, Imperial College London; Spear and Work Zone.

Westfield London is home to Work Zone which assists retailers and contractors to recruit locally, and to alert residents and jobseekers to available jobs and to assist jobseekers to gain access to the right employment and skills training for jobs at Westfield London.
