Fast Forward 15 mentees raise thousands for charity with sensational Night of Sparkle

Fast Forward 15 mentees Night of Sparkle
The founding 15 mentees from the inaugural Fast Forward 15 programme took over Basement at The London Edition on Tuesday 9th February for A Night of Sparkle.
The exclusive charity reception, which was developed in response to a challenge set down to test the event organising mettle of the mentees, raised over £3,500 with all proceeds going to Newlife Foundation, The Prince’s Trust and The Clink.

Fundraising activities on the night included a jewellery sale courtesy of Newlife, while raffle prizes were generously donated by All About Flights, Green Route Africa, One & Only Cape Town, MICEBOOK, The Savoy to name but a few.

Entertainment for the evening was supplied by Brand New Groove, who dazzled the crowds with their take on funk masterpieces by Stevie Wonder and James Brown to modern classics by the likes of Daft Punk and Bruno Mars, while professional photographer Darren Bandoo was on hand to capture the essence of the night as well as the amazing ice sculpture by Ice Box.

Commenting on the event, Fay Sharpe, Zibrant managing director and the founder of Fast Forward 15 said: “I’m incredibly proud of our mentees and the journey they have been on the past 10 months. It’s been a pleasure to witness them develop, grow in confidence and achieve both professional and personal goals that they set. Therefore, I’m not surprised that the event was such a success and am delighted that such worthy charities will be the beneficiaries.”

Following the success of its inaugural year, Fast Forward 15 is returning for 2016, offering 15 new mentees the opportunity to be a part of the programme. Applications close on Monday 22nd February and candidates can still apply to be a part through the dedicated microsite (
