MyEvent.Vision Final to be officially part of UK Events Week at International Confex and the Event Production Show

The My.EventVision Final will now take place at The Event Production Show and International Confex as part of UK Events Week next month. The finale of the competition will see the last six finalists invited to the show and given the chance to gain inspiration ahead of their presentations to the panel of industry leading judges.

As part of the culmination of the competition there will be a special finale spectacular on the Event Production Show Main Stage. Members of the MyEvent.Vision Advisory Board; Kevin Jackson, Director of Ideas & innovation at The Experience is the Marketing; Robert Dunsmore, freelance Creative Director; Jason Allan Scott, Changemaker Enterprises and Hollywood Inc.; and sponsors Eventbrite; will join last year’s winner, as well as finalists from this year, to bring their MyEvent.Vision experience to life.

MyEvent.Vision and the show organisers will also give each finalist a behind the scenes VIP tour of both International Confex and the Event Production Show.

Introduced to find fresh creative talent, the initiative is open to anyone with an original event idea. The concept has been described as ‘Dragons’ Den meets ‘The Apprentice’ for the events industry and organisers are expecting even more entries this year and an even stronger field.

Events International Group (EIG) the principle supporter of MyEvent.Vision will also be encouraging inspiration and innovation in the industry across the educational content for both Event Production Show and International Confex.

The deadline for entries to the competition is 8th February with the lucky winner having the opportunity to bring their event vision to life as well as receiving a £5,000 cash prize and the prospect of a freelance or full-time or part-time position with Events International Group (EIG).
