London Union and ISES UK partner to host live event forum

Last night (Thursday 21st January) London Union, the parent company of Street Feast, partnered with ISES UK to host a networking evening discussing ‘New Events and experiences, what should they look like?’. The event welcomed over 100 ISES UK members and a panel of thought leaders from some of the UK’s most respected and admired agencies to Dinerama, an old 1950's bullion truck yard turned events space and one of London Union’s venues from their extensively unique portfolio, located in Shoreditch.

The panel led by three of the most influential minds in the industry, Deborah Armstrong, Summerland; Kevin Jackson, EITM and Michael Wyrley, TRO invited attendees to listen to their thoughts and insights in an informative forum.

London Union hosted the event in their 1950s crystal cocktail lounge, The Zephyr Bar and Winerama, their wonderful undercover wine garden, showcasing the versatility of their unique venue spaces. Attendees were also given ‘Dinerama Dollars’, the venue’s food token currency, to explore the diversity of the catering from the street food traders on the floor below. Guests enjoyed steamed Chinese buns stuffed with hoisin pork belly from Yum Bun, Baja Fish Tacos from Breddos and juicy, meaty ribs from Smokestak, amongst other dishes.

Emma Howe, Sales Director, London Union commented on the event; “Working with ISES UK to create this event has been a fantastic experience. They are an institution in the events industry, from students studying Events Managements to the industry leaders who joined the panel. The event brought together an influential group of event professionals to create conversation and debate in a unique setting’’.

Robert Dunsmore, Creative Director, ISES UK added ‘’London Union are bringing something truly different – and that what progress is all about. “we presented a panel that make events into experiences – and sat them on the bar in a venue that transforms the experience of dining into an event”
