Bumper festive Friday for the Royal ICC

This comes to the end of a busy week at the Royal ICC, with back to back events including a conference of 500 people and several Christmas functions.
 
Royal ICC General Manager Venue Sales & Marketing, Jago Coyle, welcomed the busy Christmas period and said it was joy to provide great service and award-winning food to so many happy clients.
  
 “The festive season has well and truly kicked off and we are thrilled so many businesses are choosing to host their events at our convention centre and showgrounds,” Mr Coyle said.
 
“Our Royal ICC team pride themselves on providing world-class standards and five star service.
 
“Just last night we hosted more than 300 people at an awards night and now our chefs are preparing more than 3000 meals, December is proving to be a bumper month.”
 
The Royal ICC is Brisbane’s newest convention centre. The state-of-the-art convention centre has hosted more than 450 events since opening in March 2013, including Her Royal Highness, Princess Anne and Queensland’s top food critic, Des Houghton who gave rave reviews.
 
It is located 1.5km from Brisbane’s CBD at the Brisbane Showgrounds, one of Brisbane’s most prominent events precincts.
The Royal International Convention Centre (Royal ICC) will serve more than 3000 meals to guests today, as it prepares for its busiest day of the season.   
The Royal ICC team will play host to six simultaneous events being held across the state-of-the-art convention centre and iconic Brisbane Showgrounds.
