Jackson Headlines at The Experience Conference, Amsterdam

Kevin Jackson delivered the keynote session at The Experience Conference in Amsterdam yesterday. The conference, which looked at trends within the European experience marketing industry, also included speakers from across Europe including Bjorn Wigforss, Marcom Director Events, Microsoft.

Jackson talked about wider business trends affecting the global events industry, and how The Experience is the Marketing is disrupting the conventional agency model to make events a force for business growth. The Experience Conference is concerned with encouraging more face-to-face interaction between consumers, businesses and brands.

“This is a really good event, and the audience will have brand managers and marketing directors that want to understand where we are as an industry globally, and where our future is as part of the marketing mix,” commented Jackson. “The content at this event is brilliant so I’m looking forward to seeing how other markets are viewing events.”

This is the first time the conference has taken place and will tackle subjects around brand activation and experience marketing. Organisers are promising a chance to get insight into the best practices of major brands embracing live events.
