Stamford Bridge to launch Mindful Meetings Experience with Wellbeing Expert, Vinay Menon

London’s Stamford Bridge - the home of Chelsea Football Club, has announced a new ‘Mindful Meetings’ experience will be launched in the New Year, inviting delegates to become more aware of the present moment whilst supporting longer term business objectives.

Inspired by recent research into the benefits of mindfulness and meditation in and outside of the workplace, the Mindful Meetings experience has been developed with Chelsea Football Club’s very own world-renowned meditation and yoga expert Vinay Menon, who, dubbed the ‘Yoga Guru’ by many of his clients, has designed a 45-minute meditation session to be taken as part of a full day-delegate experience.

Vinay’s session has been created specifically for those that sit regularly in meetings or at their desks, incorporating calming meditation techniques to counteract stress and muscle tightness along with a series of useful rhythmic stretches, breathing exercises and sound meditation to reconnect mind and body, all of which can be taken away and applied to their daily lives at home.

Simon Hunter, Head of Venue and Brand at Stamford Bridge comments, “We are really excited to be working with Vinay to bring a new mindfulness experience for delegates that’s so front of mind right now. With the increased use of technology allowing us all to operate a 24/7 workplace, it’s harder and harder for delegates to switch off; this unique experience allows delegates time to completely relax, inviting a clearer mind and focused group during the meeting and afterwards.”

The Mindful Meetings delegate experience includes room hire in one of the venue’s Millennium Suites - offering inspiring views across the stadium – and a menu developed by Chelsea Football Club’s expert catering team to support productivity and clarity of mind; including a healthy Breakfast Martini of layered granola, yoghurt and fruit upon arrival, served with herbal infused tea and decaffeinated coffee, mid-morning Chelsea FC Academy super-smoothie - known affectionately as the ‘Bluesberry’ by the team’s young players - including berries, yoghurt, flaxseed oil and organic dried fruit and nuts.

A working lunch menu has been designed to provides delegates eight different nutritional benefits - such as cleansing, energising, and detoxing – and is served alongside fresh detoxing spinach, lime and passionfruit juice followed by an afternoon break with a choice of Aloe Vera drink, acai berry drink, coconut water, herbal infused team and decaffeinated coffee, accompanied by fruit kebabs.

The new Mindful Meetings experience is available from £150+VAT pp with a minimum of 15 delegates and a maximum of 20. The package launches in January 2016.
