35% cheaper to host meetings in Norway

Norway meeting
Norway is hardly known to be on the cheap, and while we still have a way to go on the Southern Europeans it has never been a financially better time to go. With the Norwegian krone having plummeted since the oil crisis kicked off, it is now 35% cheaper for British incentive organisers to host meetings and conferences in Norway than in 2013.

Good on the wallet – good for the visitors

Norway is already well positioned within the 20 most popular incentive destinations in the world, much thanks to high quality venues, safe and well-organised trips, and not least the wealth of natural  wonders from the north to the south being stunning fjords or mystic northern lights. Bergen has established itself as an international congress city with modern facilities, and with fjords, glaciers and the ‘garden of Norway’ located a short fjord cruise away it is much sought after for its after-meeting activities.

The arctic city Tromsø caters for the bragability factor, attracting people wishing to tick off No.1 bucket list contestant, namely seeing the northern lights, with local seafood and good venues. The capital Oslo is also an excellent candidate, with design, architecture and food at the heart of the city’s exciting new developments.
