The evening at Somerset House featured cutting-edge conversations on corporate hospitality, trends, terminology and advice. The 200+ guests saw first-hand what to expect at next year’s sporting and cultural events including a preview of Twickenham Stadium’s legendary atmosphere and their finest hospitality offering which will be available for RBS Six Nations.
Guests were then immersed into both the Cheltenham Festival and Investec Derby Festival experiencing the unrivalled luxury and service available. This was followed by a taste of the atmosphere at Edgbaston, hearing the crowds roar in a unique silent disco themed room. The Championships, Wimbledon, Kia Oval and The Aegon Championships were also on display in differently themed rooms, all manned by experienced staff who spent time answering a plethora of questions.
Keith Prowse indulged guests with a food and drink offering including cocktails created by mixologist specialists MIX Global, canapés and liquid nitrogen ice-cream from Lick Me I'm Delicious, which included a specially crafted lemon meringue pie, plus port, and stilton liquid nitro ice cream.
Rugby legend and 2003 World Cup winner, Simon Shaw MBE, took part in a Q&A providing a behind the scenes insight into life as an international professional, having won the Aviva Premiership, European Cup and been part of a successful British and Irish Lions side.
Former tennis player and British number one, Greg Rusedski, also took part in a Q&A entertaining crowds with tales from his career on the international circuit, whilst talking about what it was like to win Sports Personality of the Year in 1997.
