The show, held at London’s ILEC Conference Centre on 20 May 2015, and organised by Venuemasters, has just announced results of its visitor survey, indicating that 65% of attendees said they will or probably will be using the exhibitor venues within the next 12 months and 89% rated their overall experience of the Show as excellent or good.
Kate Davis, Head of Business Development for Campus and Residential Services at Leeds Beckett University comments:
“The Academic Venue Show has moved from strength to strength in recent years, and this uplift in enquiries reflects the show itself, as well as changes which Well Met has implemented over the last year – including a new brand, which clearly differentiates our conferencing, hospitality and accommodation offer and a restructure of the team to create Conference Host positions, both of which make it easier for the customer from the outset.
"Whilst we are delighted to receive such a high volume of enquiries, it’s also really important to recognise the profile and importance the show achieves for the academic venue sector as a whole.”
Jo Mitchell, Marketing Manager at Venuemasters comments: “The Show is a great way for us to raise the profile of academic venues and also increase event organisers understanding of the wide range of facilities that are available to hire. We received fantastic feedback from exhibitors at this year’s Show and we congratulate Well Met on their success and we look forward to announcing some exciting plans for the 2016 Show soon.”
