New corporate Golf days launched at Bovey Castle in Dartmoor National Park

New corporate golf day packages have been launched at Bovey Castle in Dartmoor National Park as part of a major investment in the award-winning country house hotel.

Golf days continue to be a hugely popular way of entertaining key clients or rewarding top-performing staff and their enduring appeal is easy to understand when offered in the luxurious surroundings of this stunning hotel and its challenging 18-hole championship course.

Bovey Castle’s golf professionals are on hand to help clients to plan their bespoke corporate packages, which can be tailored to suit every company’s requirements. There are three corporate golf day options to choose from:
• coffee and bacon roll, a round of golf and lunch in the newly-refurbished Smith’s Brasserie at just £69 per person;
• light lunch in Smith’s Brasserie, a round of golf and dinner in one of Bovey Castle’s private dining rooms at just £105 per person; or
• coffee and bacon roll in Smith’s Brasserie, nine holes in the morning, lunch in Smith’s Brasserie, 18 holes in the afternoon and dinner at just £125 per person.

Golf days include personalised scorecard preparation, complete management of the event and a concierge service for the group (minimum number of eight golfers).

The golf course at Bovey Castle is a challenging and beautiful 18-hole course, designed in 1926 by JF Abercromby, one of the finest British golf course designers of the last century. When the course opened in 1930, it quickly gained national acclaim for its reputation as one of the most enjoyable places to play golf.

Designed to rival its sister courses at Gleneagles and Turnberry, this course has been described as an experience of golf never to be forgotten, presenting the pure challenge of golf to professional and amateur alike. The course meanders through the hotel’s river valley estate, surrounded by idyllic landscape and challenges to meet any handicap. Bovey Castle also offers a fully-equipped club house, driving range and golf academy.

The Eden Hotel Collection – the AA Small Hotel Group of the Year 2014-15 – has just completed a major refurbishment of Bovey Castle as part of a renovation programme to restore the property to its former glory. The estate includes a 64-bedroom hotel, golf course, spa, country lodges and an outdoor pursuits centre.
