Zombie invasion transforms Troxy for third consecutive Kerrang! Awards

Troxy, Relentless Kerrang! Awards
Returning to the venue for the third consecutive year, East End’s Troxy opened its doors to 900 rock legends, fans and the odd zombie for the glamorous, rock-filled revelry of Relentless Kerrang! Awards, 11th June 2015.
Once again, Troxy and ANGP pulled off a seamless production for the prestigious awards ceremony, with Troxy’s in-house AV system delivering loudly and proudly to keep the raucous crowd partying hard until the early hours. The zombie theme of the evening came to the forefront with a slick zombie stage invasion half-way through the ceremony, and was embraced by the night’s performer magician Dynamo and catering staff from True Deli who stalked the tables with canapés, mini burgers and chips.

Kerrang! teamed up with energy drink Relentless to execute the night, who supplied a Relentless photo booth and branded pop-up bar, giving even more reason to keep the party in full swing.

Amongst the crowds sat some of the world’s biggest rock legends including Marilyn Manson and Alice Cooper, and newer talent from All Time Low and Baby Metal. Delighted winners included Royal Blood for Best British Newcomer, Enter Shikari for Best Single with Anaesthetist and Alice Cooper for the Kerrang! Legend award.

Raising all the glasses in the room, and heralding the audience on to its feet, Marilyn Manson stole the night when he collected the much-acclaimed Lifetime Achievement Award.

Daniel Smith, Business Development Manager at Troxy said:   “Last night’s Relentless Kerrang! Awards once again lived up to its wild reputation and was a night of endless celebrations and rock’n’roll reunions. This year was the first time we opened up the Upper Circle and provided award ceremony tickets to the fans - it was fantastic to welcome so many legends and fans across the rock spectrum to the venue and celebrate the much-loved genre.”
