Manchester Central to host the city’s biggest Christmas parties

Renowned party-planners Vivid Experience will host a series of show-stopping Christmas parties at Manchester Central later this year.
Vivid will take over the venue for three weeks in December and will transform the iconic Central Hall into a spectacular circus-themed setting.
Manchester Central’s experienced team of chefs will produce a bespoke menu for guests to enjoy during the parties and the masses will be wowed by world-class entertainment; as well as a purpose-built fairground that will be constructed inside the venue.

Last year, Vivid entertained 50,000 guests at venues throughout the UK and Manchester Central will provide the perfect backdrop to their first events in the city.

The parties will take advantage of Manchester Central’s 10,000sqm of columnless space, accommodating up to 1,800 guests each evening.

Angie Robinson, Chief Executive of Manchester Central, said: “Events at Manchester Central continue to showcase the true extent of the venue’s flexibility. So far this year the venue has been transformed to host such a wide range of events, from the 49th Annual IATEFL Conference and Exhibition to ITV’s Ninja Warrior UK; and we’re already looking forward to hosting Manchester’s biggest Christmas parties!”

Richard Longhill, Managing Director of Vivid Experience which operates Christmas parties across the UK, said: “Manchester Central is a world-class venue in a great location with superb travel and hotel links. The iconic venue space offers us unrivalled options to create Manchester's next level of Christmas party, quite literally a ‘Christmas Party World’ all under one roof.

“The response from businesses so far has been encouraging and we already have strong enquiries from prestigious companies looking to book the venue on an exclusive basis or to join our shared party nights.
