The event is the first of its kind for the CTO and aims to explore the opportunities available for the Caribbean region and its partners within the market, as well as develop a strategy to grow business in the MICE sector. It will act as a follow up to CTO’s recent MICE masterclass held last month to inform some of the CTO’s members on best practice within the market.
The networking event for UK buyers will take place at Gordon Ramsay’s Heddon Street Kitchen restaurant on Tuesday 28 April, between 5.30pm – 8.30pm where at least 60 buyers are expected.
Carol Hay, director of marketing UK and Europe, Caribbean Tourism Organization, says, “We are very much looking forward to hosting our first MICE networking event for UK buyers. This event promises to be productive and informative and we are pleased that Global Connect UK shares the same vision as us at the CTO. The success of the Caribbean depends on effectively engaging with the UK buyers but first and foremost we must facilitate those relationships. Working together will enable all involved to create a greater impact when promoting the region, and we hope that this is the first of many MICE networking events to come.”
