ETOA City Fair 2015 to open at Tower of London

On Sunday 14th June, City Fair delegates will have the opportunity to start work early with an informal networking reception and a private viewing of the Crown Jewels.  The business programme will commence on Monday morning at Wembley Stadium where a day's worth of B2B appointments between European tourism suppliers and international tour operators will take place.

This year City Fair's programme has been extended to include a City Tourism Conference titled "Selling Cities" on Tuesday 17th June, also at Wembley Stadium.

Speakers will explore various topics including the selling of short haul city breaks, working with long haul markets, simple but effective digital strategies for destinations and the real value of film tourism.

Ann Wilson, Head of Sales at Historic Royal Palaces said: 'ETOA workshops prove to be effective events for Historic Royal Palaces to meet new and existing clients alike and to promote visits to tour operators from around the world.  We are delighted to be partnering with ETOA for the 2015 City Fair reception and look forward to hosting attendees at the Tower of London to a private viewing of the Crown Jewels.'

Martine Ainsworth-Wells, Director of Marketing & Commerce at ETOA said: 'We are thrilled that Historic Royal Palaces are to host a reception for City Fair delegates at the Tower of London.

This year's programme; including the reception, workshop and conference, truly reflects the dynamism of the European inbound travel trade and the strength of Europe's appeal as a tourist destination to the world.'
