Positive image attracts new guest events to Messe Stuttgart and the ICS

Several conferences and trade fairs will premiere in Stuttgart in 2015 and 2016

Many new events are set to take place on the exhibition grounds in Stuttgart in 2015 and the years to come. The diversity of sectors is remarkable – medical science, finance, manufacturing technology and engineering. More and more companies, associations, trade groups and event managers are choosing the ICS International Congress Center Stuttgart and the exhibition halls at Stuttgart airport because of the first-rate venue and services

Stuttgart's image as an industrial and high-tech location will, for example, be greatly enhanced by the KSS trade fair, an exclusive dialogue platform for the coolant and lubricant industry, taking place from 5 to 7 May 2015. This offers manufacturers and trade visitors a forum for highly specialized discussions and establishing valuable business contacts, all within a short timeframe. The KSS trade fair will take place in tandem with Moulding Expo, the international trade fair for tool, pattern and mould-making, which is a new product of Messe Stuttgart.

In the second half of the year (September 2015), Stuttgart will welcome INTERGEO again, the world's leading conference trade fair for geodesy, geoinformation and land management. More than 16,000 visitors from 92 countries make it a key platform for the industry around the world. Each year, INTERGEO is held at a different venue, and 2004 was the last time it was hosted in Stuttgart.

On 3 December 2015, top-class marketing professionals, the latest industry topics and high-level networks will take centre stage on the 42nd German Marketing Day. One of the reasons why the who's who in industry, trade and services meet in the ICS is because the German Marketing Prize is traditionally awarded on the evening of the congress. The coveted trophy is a tribute to integrated marketing concepts and the use of technologies and instruments that clearly contribute to corporate economic success.

Two further events in particular stand out from the new congresses. In November 2015, Structured Finance will debut in Stuttgart, the leading event in Germany for financial decision-makers in companies. This conference trade fair for modern corporate financing offers finance directors and managers a wide range of innovative financial solutions and tailor-made products. The organisers have signed a three-year contract with the Guest Events division of Messe Stuttgart. More than 1,300 participants are expected.

In October 2016, the 61st Conference of the German Society of Gynaecologists and Obstetricians (DGGG) will focus on the topic of "Women's Health – Responsibility and Prospects". With more than 7,000 members, DGGG is one of the largest medical associations in Germany. Internationally renowned experts will hold presentations about medical and technical innovations and inspire an audience of 3,500 people.

"At Messe Stuttgart and the ICS, being cost-effective and efficient goes hand in hand with triggering emotions and personal experiences," says Stefan Lohnert, Division Director Guest Events. "Organisers, exhibitors and visitors can reap the benefits offered by tandem events and generic formats. These acquisitions will raise Stuttgart's profile as a venue for important congresses and international trade fairs and will also boost the local economy."
