Hold milestone meetings at New York venue celebrating its Centennial in 2015

Since 1915 the Bear Mountain Inn has served as a beloved venue for generations who have trusted their special events, social celebrations, business meetings and more to this venerable establishment. And 100 years later, after a multi-year renovation, Bear Mountain Inn retains its iconic allure.

With native stone, wood beams and expansive open-hearth fireplaces pristinely restored, the Inn’s classic Adirondack décor is comfortably rustic, yet its up-to-date function space offers all the 21st century amenities required to accommodate business meetings and memorable social galas.

For business meetings convening this year and beyond, the 3,000 sq. ft. Appalachian Room on the Inn’s ground level can accommodate up to 48 seated classroom-style; the cozier 1,550 sq. ft.

Adirondack room is perfect for small functions of no more than 21 in a U-shaped table configuration. Both rooms access the exterior Hickory Terrace and each features windowed walls for views of the grounds. On the Inn’s second floor, the Perkins Ballroom can be combined to provide 5,695 sq. ft. featuring overhead beamed ceilings, an open-hearth fireplace, rustic columns and views of the park and mountain. It seats between 125 and 225 for weddings. The Rockefeller Room and Eisenhower Boardroom are 600 sq. ft. each, and can each accommodate 12 classroom-style.

At the northern end of the park, there’s still more function space at the Overlook Lodge, where the Hessian Ballroom accommodates 100 classroom-style, and two additional breakout rooms seat 25 each at a U-Shaped table. Lastly, there’s the Cliffhouse, a special rustic cabin of 1,600 sq. ft. that accommodates 30 classroom-style, and 50 seated at rounds.

Expertly trained, professional service and culinary staff leave meeting attendees wanting for nothing. Amenities at the Inn also include the Hiker’s Café for light fare and “grab and go” meals, Restaurant 1915 and Blue Roof Tapas Bar, and the Bear Mountain Trading Company gift shop. To relax and rejuvenate after meetings, attendees can make appointments at The Spa at Bear Mountain or enjoy the park’s many amenities, such as seasonal swimming and boating in summer, ice skating in winter, year-round hiking, and turns on the nostalgic Merry-go-Round.

Bear Mountain Inn features 12 guestrooms and three suites, while its sister property, Overlook Lodge, contains 24 guestrooms; the four Stone Cottages feature six guestrooms each surrounding a shared common area with working fireplace (available seasonally). Bear Mountain Inn is convenient to Westchester International Airport and accessible to Manhattan – just an hour away – via car, bus, train or cab. Bear Mountain Inn is located at 3020 Seven Lakes Drive in Bear Mountain, New York 10911.
