Food by Dish serve up event profs yoga breakfast at Banqueting House

Food by Dish and Banqueting House Yoga Breakfast
This week (Wednesday 25 February), Food by Dish and Banqueting House hosted a ‘yoga breakfast’, designed to give event professionals a relaxing kick-start to the day.
Dubbed #RelaxUnderRubens, 20 lucky event agents and venue finders from across the industry were taken through a relaxing yoga session under the majestic Rubens ceiling of the historic royal venue.
Back by popular demand, following the success of last year’s event, venue caterers Food by Dish provided invigorating and healthy shots of kale, acai berry and wheatgrass smoothies on arrival to set the mood for the breakfast.

The instructor set the gentle pace, accompanied by classical music and mood lighting.

The event was rounded off with Food by Dish providing a post yoga networking breakfast buffet. Served in the Undercroft, the menu followed a healthy theme, consisting of natural yoghurt with granola and fresh fruit skewers. For those feeling far too healthy after the morning’s workout and needing their calorie hit, mini bacon butties were also on offer!

Fully energised, guests left ready to face the day with goodie bags which included a yoga mat and macaroons as a reward for their hard work.

Hannah Strong, Sales and Marketing Director at Food by Dish said: “We’ve received great feedback on our yoga breakfasts, and have really enjoyed working with Banqueting House once again. It is such a unique event and we were happy to set the guests up to tackle their busy and productive days. As they say, breakfast is the most important meal of the day.”

Jennifer Walker, Head of Banqueting House, added: “It was great to host an event where clients can view the venue from a different angle and for the Banqueting House events team to have the opportunity to showcase our new events offering for 2015.”
