imago achieves record sales for Christmas period

imago has achieved record sales for its Christmas offering, with its flagship property achieving double digit growth.  
Located in Loughborough, Leicestershire, imago’s portfolio of venues has seen growth across the board, particularly at Burleigh Court, recent winner of the Leicester and Leicestershire Excellence in Tourism Awards Hotel of the Year category, which saw a 10.5% increase in Christmas sales. Its extensive seasonal packages included Christmas party nights, office lunches, Santa Sunday lunches, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day lunches and a New Year’s Eve Dinner Dance.

Its growth in revenue over the festive period has been attributed to imago’s focus on sales marketing campaigns to promote what its venues can offer as well as on-site accommodation offering.  

Emma Boynton, Head of Sales and Marketing at imago, comments: “Over the last few years we have seen a steady increase in interest for Christmas parties being held at Burleigh Court, The Link and Holywell Park. It highlights that businesses are once again willing to invest in celebrating the festive season with their staff. It is great to see revenue increasing in this area, and we are particularly pleased with the growth we have seen at Burleigh Court. With new ideas in the pipeline to make 2015 even more festive we’re confident that this growth will continue.”  

Launched in 2003, imago unifies Loughborough University’s conference and events venues under one brand, providing high quality meeting spaces, venues and accommodation along with excellent sports and leisure facilities. As well as Burleigh Court, imago’s portfolio of venues includes Holywell Park, Loughborough University’s conference and events facilities and The Link Hotel.
