Corporate groups can now take part in night-time tree trekking, and experience the acres of woodland in a completely different light.
The activity takes approximately one hour, and involves delegates harnessing up with qualified instructors, and wearing head torches to scale mini-climbing walls, rope bridges and zip wires, and tunnels, all 10ft above the ground.
Tree trekking is set to be a hugely popular activity at Center Parcs in 2015, as organisers increasingly seek the latest trends and experiences for their corporate groups. The company reported healthy teambuilding figures within their daytime business in 2014, and is looking to make the most of their extensive outdoor facilities and grow this figure for night time events.
Daniel Whittemore, head of corporate sales for Center Parcs, says: “We always want to give our delegates an unforgettable experience that will challenge them and ultimately prove great fun. Not only does this fit perfectly with our ethos around wellbeing, it also provides the ideal opportunity to teambuild with colleagues in a natural forest setting. The fact that it takes place after dark is an extra thrill!”
