Center Parcs Conferences & Events reports healthy progress in teambuilding activities at Sherwood Forest

Center Parcs Conferences & Events at Sherwood Forest has announced that over half of the day business they welcome to the Village involves some form of teambuilding.
Since April, Sherwood Forest has welcomed 7,375 people across a total of 147 events. An impressive 54% of this business has incorporated a teambuilding element.

Teambuilding at Center Parcs Villages is an option more and more conference and event bookers are choosing for their experiences, owing to the variety of indoor and outdoor activities to suit all tastes and budgets.

Earlier in 2014, Center Parcs launched three new packages across all its sites - Active8, Rejuven8 and Motive8 – designed to provide delegates with a wider choice to compliment any meeting or event and offer a more tailored approach to support a client’s business objectives.

Each package includes breakfast on arrival, half-day meeting room hire and refreshments, then in the afternoon a choice from activities, a teambuilding session or a trip to the spa.

The Active8 package involves a choice of two leisure activities (including laser combat, paintball and abseiling) designed to provide a change of scene, Rejuven8 treats delegates to a relaxing, indulgent two hour spa session and Motive8 offers a teambuilding experience, where delegates work together to complete a number of tasks such as an Aqua Tree Trek, Spanish Gold or a giant board game.

Daniel Whittemore, Head of Corporate Sales for Center Parcs Conferences and Events, comments: “The market is certainly showing signs of recovery, and our clients are looking to combine a conference or event with something that will refresh their delegates and leave them with more of a lasting impression of their experience. With what we have to offer and our emphasis on wellbeing and enjoying the outdoor environment, we are confident this figure will grow in 2015.”
