Butlins boasts remarkable growth

Butlins Conference & Events announces an outstanding year with a 19% growth in business year on year

Butlins Conference & Events continues to make waves in the MICE arena, reporting an impressive 19% growth in business over 2014. This exceptional result, paired with the continuing expansion of their conference and events offering, builds on the phenomenal foundation set in 2013 which saw business increase by 22%.

2014 has been a bumper year for the events arm of Butlins, with their flagship conference destination in Bognor Regis reporting a staggering 43% increase in business over the period. The conference and events team welcomed a host of new clients throughout the year ranging from the insurance, banking, retail, automotive and hospitality sectors including global beauty brand, Elizabeth Arden, high street favourite New Look and leading pub and brewing company, Green King.  

The remarkable increase in revenue has been attributed to the extensive availability and interest of exclusive hire across all three sites from November until March, which has become an increasingly popular choice amongst conference agents. In addition to exclusive resort hire, Butlins’ team building offering continues to grow in popularity with over 80% of bookings in 2014 partaking in the bespoke packages on offer.
