PEACH successfully hosts 4th Asian and Oceanian Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Congress

Royal Cliff Hotels Group and the award-winning Pattaya Exhibition and Convention Hall (PEACH) successfully hosted the 4th Asian and Oceanian Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Congress from November 27-30, 2014.
The 4 -day event was well attended by over 700 neurologists, clinical neurophysiologists, psychiatrist and trainees from several countries across Europe and the Asia Pacific. Dr. Roongroj Bhidayasiri, President of the Thai Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorder Society (MDS) along with 
Mr. Ronakit Ekasingh, Pattaya Deputy Mayor were present at the opening ceremony on the evening of November 28, 2014.


Delegates enjoyed an elegant cocktail reception followed by an international buffet dinner prepared by Royal Cliff’s award-winning culinary team topped with a dazzling Thai dance performance, the Nop Na Tee Sri Siam.

Throughout the 4 days, PEACH’s spacious halls were filled with exhibition booths from GlaxoSmithKline Plc. (GSK), Allergan Inc., Novartis International AG and many other leading pharmaceutical companies, medical device businesses and health & fitness firms. The event comprised of outstanding scientific programs including symposia, plenary and parallel sessions on such key topics as psychogenic movement disorders, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, spasticity, ageing brain and immune-mediated neuropathy, presented by regional and international specialists in collaboration with world leading pharmaceutical companies including Britania Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Ipsen Pharmaceuticals and H. Lundbeck A/S. More than 240 poster presentations lead by pioneers of the field aimed to share the latest knowledge and technological advancements as well as techniques in clinical neurophysiology by world renowned specialists and experts.
