Chef Patron Annie Féolde’s cuisine is inspired by Tuscan culture, blending local ingredients and traditional Italian cooking with modern techniques and flavours.
Annie leads the kitchen as the first female chef in Italy to have earned three Michelin stars, while co-owner, partner and Tuscan sommelier Giorgio Pinchiorri guides diners through one of the world’s largest collections of wine.
From Monday 1st December, Enoteca Pinchiorri will offer a menu created exclusively for Stelle di Stelle. The restaurant will be open on Christmas Eve and Boxing Day, as well as New Year’s Eve (for lunch and an early evening sitting) and New Year’s Day.
Dishes include octopus cooked in olive oil with pumpkin cream, coffee pearls and watercress sprouts; fusilli “al ferretto” with artichokes, scampi and licorice powder; rack of lamb topped with garlic and thyme, served with polenta and black cabbage; and “pane, cioccolato, olio e sale”, a contemporary Italian dessert. The menu can be paired with a selection of Italian wines and beers such as Gaja Sito Moresco, Benefizio Riserva Pomino, Ferrari Rosé Brut NV and Birra Moretti.
Harrods will continue to welcome some of Italy’s best restaurants at the Stelle di Stelle pop-up restaurant until the end of January 2015; the line-up continues in January with Piazza Duomo, which features on the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list.
Menus are priced at £65 for a shorter lunch menu, and £115 for the tasting menu (£85 and £140 respectively with drinks), with one lunch sitting and two dinner sittings each day.
