With nine exciting international guest master chefs from Great Britain, gourmets can look forward to more than 40 exceptional and pleasurable events in the Upper Engadine from 26th to 30th January.
As this is the ‘British Edition’, the 2015 St. Moritz Gourmet Festival will be centred entirely on the art of cookery of the following nine highly awarded star chefs from Great Britain: Claude Bosi, Angela Hartnett, Chong Choi Fong, Virgilio Martínez, Jason Atherton, Nathan Outlaw, Isaac McHale, Atul Kochhar and Martin Burge. They will ensure unique and enjoyable experiences in the Upper Engadine.
With the guest master chefs from Great Britain, one exceptional event will follow the next for a whole week at the partner hotels and event locations, celebrating typically British traditions, such as exclusive afternoon teas, in true British style. On Monday evening, the Grand Opening will be the spectacular start in the presence of all the guest master chefs. It will be followed, starting on Tuesday, by the Gourmet Dîners, the Gourmet Safaris and the Kitchen Party, the enjoyable Tasting and the Illustrious Kitchen Whispering, as well as by Seafood Blizzards at an altitude of 2,486m.
Then there will be further special events such as the Fascination Champagne, the Celestial Wines and the Wine & Cheese Celebration, through to melting temptations at the Chocolate Cult. On Friday evening, the Great BMW Gourmet Finale with all the top chefs will be the crowning event of the ‘very British’ festival week at the Kulm Hotel St. Moritz.
