Both platforms have been adopted to communicate effectively the highly visual nature of events hosted by Unique Venues of London members and to give an alternative outlet to share content in an informal arena.
The YouTube channel will present an opportunity for corporate buyers and event organisers alike to experience virtual venue tours in one easy to navigate location. The channel will also share quarterly news updates from chair of the board, Moya Maxwell, and profile interviews with key players discussing what makes their venue unique.
The Unique Blog of London has been designed to offer an insight into the London events world as told through the eyes of Unique Venues of London. Each month there will be a range of posts aimed at a wide-ranging corporate and consumer audience. This will cover: best practice advice and handy hints and tips for event organisers to a pick of the best things to do in London.
Commenting on the launch of both platforms, Unique Venues of London chair, Moya Maxwell said: “Our 21st anniversary has seen our organisation transformed in terms of both branding and marketing output. In 2015 we want to both increase our social media footprint and communicate that we are one of the leading proponents and ambassadors of the capital’s event industry, as well as a champion of UK heritage sites. Given that roughly 1 billion unique users visit YouTube each month and that the events we hold are so visually driven, it was clear that it is a great way to reach both existing and new audiences. The new blog will give the opportunity to members looking to share unusual events, engage with followers and share their event expertise.”
