The agreement, which is the first of its kind for the NEC, will see the brand appear across the NEC’s venue-wide free Wi-Fi service and will promote FCL’s diverse range of logistical services - which includes shipping by sea, air and road - to over two million visitors to the NEC annually.
“It has been our intention since we launched our industry-leading free Wi-Fi service in March 2013 to commercialise the service which offers our partners exposure to over two million visitors per year,” said Sarah Whittaker, Sales Director for Commercial Marketing at the NEC Group.
“Our customers told us that Wi-Fi was a priority if we wanted to make the NEC an even better place to visit, and this partnership with FCL adds value to our offer.”

As part of the agreement, FCL Global - which is one of the fastest growing logistics businesses in the UK - also has hospitality opportunities at both the NIA (to be re-launched as the Barclaycard Arena from 2 December 2014) and the LG Arena (the Genting Arena from 1 January 2015).
