Middle Temple re-opens Rutledge Suite with breakfast launch event

Middle Temple re-opens Rutledge Suite
On Friday 31st October, City of London venue Middle Temple officially re-opened the Rutledge Suite with a champagne breakfast launch event for agencies and corporate buyers. Over 70 event professionals were in attendance including representatives from MELON, Mask Events, ITA, Prudential and Kuoni.

The event kicked off in the Rutledge Suite with guests enjoying a sumptuous breakfast produced by the in-house catering team. A combination of jazz and swing background music created an upbeat atmosphere, and a wandering card shark entertained guests with intriguing sleight of hand.

Special guest; The Rt Hon Lord Justice Christopher Clarke, whose professional law career spans being a judge in the Courts of Appeal of Guernsey and Jersey and High Court judge in commercial court, welcomed guests informing them of the upgraded AV and WiFi facilities to enhance conferences and events.

Guests mingled throughout the entire seven rooms of the Suite and tucked into field mushroom with beef tomato and grilled halloumi breakfast baps, open bagels with salmon and cream cheese, mini herbed pork and leek chipolatas, layered yogurt shots of granola and fruit coulis and individual fresh fruit salads in cocktail glasses. Fresh fruit was artistically displayed in copper pots alongside small carved pumpkins.  Cake plates contained chocolate brownies, flapjacks, lemon cake slices, individual fruit tarts and Halloween themed cupcakes. Guests sipped on mango and freshly squeezed orange juice, an assortment of teas, Bucks Fizz and champagne.

Later guests toured Middle Temple’s additional spaces including Middle Temple Hall, one of the finest Elizabethan halls in the country boasting an original oak hammer beam roof, intricate carved panelling and stained glass windows. Guests were also shown the Bench Apartments, a collection of three individual event spaces ideal for receptions and seated dinners.
