Riverside achieves record meeting attendance

Riverside, Stratford upon Avon, managed by the NEC Group’s award-winning caterer Amadeus, attracted a record number of delegates for the most recent Coventry and Warwickshire Champions meeting.
The purpose built conference and events centre which also boasts a bar and restaurant, hosted the bi-monthly meeting which saw attendance figures reach an all-time high of more than 120 delegates. The group meets in a different venue for each meeting and most recently utilised this stunning location on the banks of the River Avon.

Riverside opened in March this year and is owned by local businessman Nic Allen and managed by Amadeus. The venue has been a welcome addition for local businesses and residents alike, and is used for private and corporate functions. Amadeus has over 34 years experience providing venue management and catering, so quality food and service is guaranteed whatever the occasion.

Chris Reynolds, Sales Director at Amadeus attended the event and said, “We are delighted that the meeting at Riverside attracted more Coventry and Warwickshire Champions members than ever before. Riverside is well equipped for meetings, conferences and team building exercises with ample parking, private balconies and break-out space. Its stunning location is an additional draw and lends itself perfectly to weddings and private parties too.”

Sarah Perry, Coventry and Warwickshire Place Manager said, “Riverside is an absolutely brilliant venue and the facilities and staff were both excellent. It’s great that we were able to hold an event there and the feedback we’ve received from delegates has been extremely positive. We only hope that our future venues are as wonderful as Riverside was.”
