Val d’Isère sets the pace for the season ahead with two spectacular weekends of international racing. With free entry for all, guests can come and marvel at the spectacular skiing on show. The Alpine World Cup showcases the most talented sports stars around, and is sure to inspire guests to improve their own skills on the slopes.
An Enchanted Christmas: 22nd – 28th December 2014
What could be more magical than a white Christmas? With giant snow sculptures, a life-size nativity, a visit from Father Christmas himself, and endless shows and concerts, the resort is a veritable Winter Wonderland during the holiday season. Instructors from the National French Ski School will present their brand new show, with highlights including ski demonstrations, fireworks and a candle-lit descent, all of which should be enjoyed with a steaming mug of mulled wine. Children will also love the festive magic show, sure to bring a real sense of occasion.
22nd Classicaval Music Festival: 20th – 22nd January 2015 and 10th to 12th March 2015
Classical music lovers are sure to be delighted by this incredible event. Presenting outstanding musicians and beautiful music, this concert invests guests to enjoy wonderful performances in the impressive Baroque church of Saint Bernard de Menthon. Having been a staple of the Val d’Isère winter calendar for over twenty years, this is one not to be missed.
Frost Gun Invitational: 10th – 12th February 2015
This incredible freestyle Big Air competition returns to Val d’Isère once more, adding thrills and excitement to the Bellevarde Face. Seeing the world’s best freestyle skiers performing to their absolute best, this event is unforgettable and un-missable.
3rd Annual Winter Golf: 25th – 29th March 2015
Snow Street golf session on the Olympique Avenue kicks off in the early evening featuring seven holes through the shops and bars of Val d’Isère, with a welcome cocktail at the first hole, hot wine and a concert at the fourth hole, and many other treats in between. The next day, in the early morning, teams head to the beautiful Manchet Vallet golf course for a day of putting, chipping, and teeing off from the glorious, snowy Alps.
3rd Annual Yoga Festival: 1st – 3rd May 2015
Yogis and yoginis the world over will delight in this mountain-top yoga event. A truly unique experience, this offers visitors the chance to rejuvenate and revitalise. It is a truly international event, organised by an English company with teachers from all over the world. A huge choice of yoga disciplines are practiced, demonstrating the range of influences. With three days in the mountains, as well as live music events and an organic café.
