The event celebrated Bentley and Lamborghini’s ten years in Birmingham and took place at the NEC’s lakeside in a temporary structure provided by event organisers Contemporary Event Structures.
Amadeus produced the food in the Pavilion kitchen on the NEC site and erected a temporary holding kitchen adjacent to the marquee to finish and plate the hot and cold canapés ready for serving. The canapés were beautifully presented in keeping with the overall contemporary style of the event and were served on slates and glass platters to the 300 prestigious guests.
The exquisite Asian themed menu included:
Sesame seed seared tuna with wasabi crème fraiche
Rolled vegetable sushi with soy dipping sauce
Teriyaki salmon with green peppers
Skewered tigers prawns with chilli and lemon grass
Szechuan pepper roasted duck with sweet chilli sauce
Oriental salmon ceviche, pickled white radish and coriander
Thai chicken satay with peanut sauce and fresh coriander
Jasmine rice cakes with sweet peppers, basil and galangal
Amadeus served exclusive Gout de Diamond champagne with a diamond on the bottle, provided by one of the sponsors, to accompany the food and ensure guests really celebrated in style.
Kevin Watson, Managing Director, Amadeus said: “Catering for exclusive, private events is another element of the Amadeus portfolio. We relish the opportunity to work closely with clients to create innovative menus tailored to their event requirements, and to ensure the catering matches the high calibre of the occasion. We know how important it is that guests are left with a positive lasting impression and we play a major role in that.”
